NYC Vaccine Mandate
On Tuesday, Mayor De Blasio announced an upcoming mandate that will require proof of vaccination from coronavirus for anyone participating in indoor activities at restaurants, gyms, movie theaters and performances in New York City.
On August 16, these indoor establishments will be required to start checking for proof for both customers and employees. A grace period will last until September 13, when the City will begin enforcement of the mandate.
In order to show proof of vaccination, customers may use the NY State Excelsior Pass, NYC COVID Safe, or your physical vaccination card.
